Magic Number Puzzle! Work through the puzzle
with a number of your choice. Then prove ALGEBRAICALLY why it works!
(That means with a variable).

- Multiply the result by

- Subtract the original
number from the result
- Divide the result by
2
- Subtract the result from
20
- Multiply the result by
-2
- Add 16 to the result
- Your answer should be
two times your original number.
You must submit your work with a written
explanation of your solution process. The explanation
should be written in complete sentences and should use math and
language to reason through the problem. All math done should be
visible with supportive reasoning in the problem.
